The café curtain comeback, what I cooked this week, and a Sollér townhome that's occupying all of my brain space.
The Whatever Letter is a weekly-ish collection of things I'm buying, making and loving, loosely tied together with the common thread of great design.
I’m patiently waiting* (*refreshing the tracking number every 30 minutes) for the café curtain I ordered from Etsy to arrive and let me tell you, I am SO excited that these have been making a slow and steady comeback over the past couple of years. Although I don’t have the charming over-the-sink window situation that you’d picture in your head when you think of traditional café curtains, I love that we’re seeing them in every shape and size of window in every room; from over the bathtub to tall dining room corner windows. I love them in a neutral linen shade, but I’m a sucker for striped textiles so that’s what I ended up choosing for our kitchen :).
I visited Sollér while in Mallorca with my family the summer before last, and instantly fell in love, which means I also looked up real estate listings because don’t we all do that? I started following an agency called Fantastic Frank and last week the most beautiful home on earth came up for sale and I just…cannot stop thinking about it. It also got me looking through my camera roll at all the photos I took during the day we spent there, so get ready for the gallery below to take up your brain for the rest of the day:

Here’s the listing. UGH.

Okay, obviously we have to talk about what I made to eat this week because I made so many good things.
First off, this fresh AF big pile of a chopped cucumber salad that I was so proud of (a mix of dill, mint, feta, lemon, EVOO, toasted pistachio, pita chips on a base of cucumber and shallots):
Second, this tahini granola with pistachios, cashews, sesame seeds and oats (loosely based off of this):
Third, a REALLY easy pasta from Blue Apron with crispy fried sage, sausage, and kale (I skipped the cream, you honestly don’t need it):
Okay, that’s it! Have a great week! :)
